How do I make an appointment?
Each of our artists brings a unique style and approach to their work, and with that comes individual pricing and availability. Because every project is different, we recommend browsing through our artist portfolios to find someone whose work resonates with your vision. Once you’ve found a match, feel free to reach out to them directly to discuss your ideas, get a quote, and schedule your session. This ensures you get the most accurate information and a truly personalized experience.
That being said, there is no shop minimum, for our artists have their own set pricing.
Is there parking available?
Yes, there is free street parking and residential parking available by the studio.
Please do not park inside the market across the street, but street parking outside the market is available!
Do you take walk-ins?
Yes and no. Please note that Tattoo Art Chicago operates strictly by appointment only—we usually do not accept walk-ins. This policy allows our artists to dedicate their full attention and time to each client, ensuring that every piece is thoughtfully designed and executed with care.
If you're interested in a tattoo and haven’t booked in advance, you're still welcome to give us a call. We’ll be happy to check our artists’ availability for a same-day consultation. However, we kindly ask for your understanding that same-day tattoo sessions are not guaranteed, as most of our artists maintain fully booked schedules or require time to prepare custom designs.
We strongly encourage you to plan ahead and schedule your session in advance to secure your preferred artist and time. This helps us deliver the high-quality, personalized experience we’re known for.
Is so-and-so a part of your team?
All of our artists, both residents and guests, will be listed on our site listed under Residents and Guests. Please be cautious of individuals reaching out via social media claiming to represent our studio. Unfortunately, there are scammers accepting deposits without delivering the promised service. We want to remind you that we are not responsible for any agreements made outside of our verified channels.
As tattoos are a permanent form of art on your body, it is essential that you do your own research before committing. Always verify that the artist is genuinely affiliated with our shop. Look for the following:
Does the artist tag our official account in their posts?
Are they followed by our shop on Instagram?
Is their work featured on our website, posts, or shared content?
Ultimately, it is the client's responsibility to ensure they are booking with a legitimate artist. Please take the time to verify before making any payments or commitments.

All of our consent forms are completed digitally for your convenience. We ask that you fill out the form within 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment to help streamline the check-in process. If you’re unable to complete it ahead of time, we have the form available at the shop and you’ll be able to fill it out on your phone before your session begins.
Please remember to bring a valid, non-expired state ID or other official government-issued identification with you. This is required for all tattoo appointments and helps us ensure compliance with legal and safety regulations.
